From learning in class to playing games at home, children are doing more on the internet than ever before – and it’s a wonderful place.

However, just as in ‘real life’, it’s important to make sure children are staying safe online. At the Potton Primary School we take this responsibility very seriously and we educate our children about internet safety as appropriate to each key stage through PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education lessons), through our programme of assemblies and as part of the Computing curriculum. One of the main strands of the Computing curriculum, digital literacy has a strong focus on internet safety issues to support and educate children about staying safe online. 

Please may we remind parents that the minimum age limit is 13 years old for several social networking sites, including Facebook and Instagram.
